The demand for labourers is increasing by the day because the Great Commission is an urgent mission.
It was a normal Sunday back in 2003, and a group of people was relaxing over lunch. Someone wondered whether it was possible for some members of the church to be going out for one-on-one evangelism outreaches. The idea became a reality when the following Sunday, the group went out for evangelism. Over the years this outlook has grown, though there is need for a bigger team to raise the church’s evangelistic outputs.
Outlook And Achievements
Through our example of living a Christian life, teaching the truths from the Bible, and by witnessing in His name, we are committed to develop a generation of God -fearing people and to harvest souls for the Everlasting Kingdom (Matthew 28:18-20).
By coming together as Disciples of Christ, we as a church ministry, dedicate ourselves to reaching out to all nations, beginning at home.
As our Lord has commanded, we pray and share scripture with individuals, groups, schools, organizations, the community and other churches. We actively seek God’s calling for us and to specifically recognize our individual gifts and talents.
Our priority areas are: Effective fervent evangelism for discipleship multiplication and equipped evangelists for ministry resilience and sustainability.
We are committed to the following values:
We are planning to build a bigger team so as to reach out to reach out to more people from all walks of life.
A holistic approach to evangelism is envisaged, as we have to minister to every dimension of life.
The urgent need is for church planting in areas, which have a need for more churches.
Follow and discipleship will be emphasized, as there is a need to preserve the harvest.
